    Wireless Problems In Vista

    Wireless Problems In Vista

This time we are going to write about how to fix wireless problems in your windows vista system. I hope that this tutorial will help you with your wireless network problems in windows vista.

If you have trouble running the wireless network in Vista, you may have to do with the operating system's new automated, auto-tuning. It does not always work so well with older routers and access points, such as may be in the public WiFi hotspots.

Try to turn off this feature to see if it gets better. Open a command prompt with administrator rights by right-clicking Command Prompt (under Start - All Programs - Accessories) and choose "Run as administrator".

    Then

netsh int tcp set global auto tuning level = disable

Restart Windows. If this does not solve the problem, you can restore to the origin with the same commando, change only disable the enable.

This measure can also help against problems in the fixed network, but use it if it is not necessary. Auto Tuning is actually meant to be useful.
