    Tips That Will Make You Work Smarter In Vista - Part 3

    Here is part 3 of our tips on how to work smarter and faster in Windows Vista. I always say work smart and not hard. And remember time is money. So if there ways or tools like a registry cleaner and other useful tools to help work smarter and faster, I'll use those right away.

    22. Add Gadgets


    The easiest way to add new gadgets is to click the plus sign at the top of the Sidebar. In the window that appears shows a number of gadgets you can add to the Sidebar. It is just to drag and drop desired gadget to Sidebar.

    Share your calendar

    You can share your calendar in two different ways. You can either choose to send your calendar as an e-mail message, choose Share, Send by e-mail or upload it to a folder on the network - or on the computer if you are more likely to use a computer. To do so, choose Share, Publish. In the dialog that opens, type a name on the calendar in the Calendar field name and path of the folder in the field Publishing to the following location.

    Finish by clicking the Publish button and then click Send to send out an e-mail to those who will have the opportunity to subscribe to your calendar.

    Working in different calendar views

    In Windows Calendar, you can choose to work in different views. By default, you work in the Day, but you can easily choose to display all week or all month. Show, Ctrl + Shift + 1 Show week Ctrl + Shift + 2 View week Ctrl + Shift + 3 View month Ctrl + Shift + 4

    Choose the right format for printing

    When you print your calendar, you can choose between different formats that day, week and month. Under the heading Print, you can also specify the start and end dates. More options for the format, you can access by clicking on the Page Setup button.

    To quickly come to today, just click on the button in the toolbar today.

    Keep track of your contacts

    The program Windows Contacts makes it easy to keep track of your contacts. You import your befi at last contact list from the Address Book by clicking the Import button and check for - format Windows Address Book file (Outlook Express contacts).
