Program For E-mail, Video And Photos Will Be Skipped in Windows 7
Microsoft has decided not to include programs for e-mail, photo editing and movie making in Windows 7. One of the reasons is that they want to get a cleaner operating system. That means we will be working less on our registry cleaner :).
Windows Vista includes programs like Windows Photo Gallery, Windows Mail and Windows Movie Maker, but all these functions will be gone in Windows 7. Instead, Microsoft will invest more in Windows Live, where users themselves can choose which services they want.
There are several reasons for this decision. The removal of such functions from the operating system so it can quickly get new versions of Windows in the future, and the system becomes easier and cleaner. Microsoft may also be a greater opportunity to cooperate with other software companies.
