Test Your Router and Other Useful Vista Tips

You must accept to install one ActiveX-control in order to drive the test. The test takes a few minutes and you get comprehensive information on the result, divided to six points.

The Task Manager

The Task Manager, that easily is reached with the three finger combination Ctrl-Skift-Esc, is an useful tool to see what happens and is driven in the computer.

The tab, processer, show as standard however only the processes that are driven under your own user account. In order to have control of all processes, both other members and the system's, mark for "show processer for every member" down to the left.

How To Get Better Sound

If your computer is built on a motherboard with court sound loops from Intel you can take advantage of good little finesses in Vista in order to improve the sound.

Open sound in the control panel. Mark the speakers and click on the button properties. Go to the tab improvements, where you find the possibility to mark for both Bass, Virtuell Surround, Loudness and etc.

If you have other sound cards it is possible that you will find others clever and applicable adjustment possibilities.

The task manager is really useful, to close annoying programs that become un responsive.
